At Alchemist Kava Bar of Naples, every sip is more than just a drink—it’s an experience. Inspired by founder Ashley Giannone’s journey through kava culture while earning her master’s degree, this space is designed for deep conversation, creative focus, and relaxed connection.

About the Drink

What is Kava?

Kava has a mildly sedative effect and can help reduce inflammation and anxiety.

The drink originates from the Pacific Islands and is made from the roots of the Kava shrub. Piper methysticum (Kava) is made by crushing the sun dried roots of the kava plant into fine powder and mixing it with water. Commonl served in a coconut shell, with the phrase “Bula!” which translates in Fijan to “Hello/Welcome”

Welcoming atmosphere

Such a welcoming atmosphere and probably the most affordable Kava lounge in town. The staff are so nice and get drinks out immediately, the atmosphere is cozy and filled with local art, and they have an Art club every Sunday at 2 with the sweetest people running it. Would absolutely recommend!!!

Alchemist Kava is hands down the best kava bar in the Naples and surrounding area. If you’re lucky enough to get Hannah as your kava-tender you’ll be most pleased with your experience! Her knowledge of the drinks and recommendations are on point. The vibe is always pleasant, events almost every day of the week, and daily happy hours are a deal you don’t want to miss out on!
